India’s first female buddy movie, Angry Indian Goddesses is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow. While one would feel that the film is women centric and that men would have nothing to look out for in it, but the cast of the film assures you may be mistaken.
Pan Nalin’s directorial, Angry Indian Goddesses, deciphers the nature of women in the most unique way possible. The film has been lauded globally but what the film could mean to Indian men is something we wanted to find out.
Talking about the same, singer turned actress, Anushka Manchanda who is one of the seven leads in the film says, “As a man have you ever wondered what goes on in a woman’s head? What makes her tick? To find the answers you’ve always been looking for watch Angry Indian Goddesses!”
Well, if Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 was all about men ranting about women and their problems, this film could dig deep into what makes the women act the way that they do.
Sandhya Mridul who plays Suranjana in the film says, “It will help them understand the women in their lives. And make them realize that they need to change with the times too.”
The film has achieved immense praises in the film festival circuits and it will be interesting to see how India accepts this no-hero but a seven-heroines film!
