Monica Dogra, of Dhobi Ghat fame, is taking a lead in her upcoming unconventional Indo American film The Spectacular Jihad Of Taz Rahim by Raghav Murali.
This flick is set to release this year and Monica plays a news anchor as a leading face in the English and Hindi language Bollywood Crime Dramedy. The film stars Rahsaan Islam in the lead opposite Monica.
The coming year has a lot in store for the multi-talented Dogra as she has signed a number of upcoming projects.
The film is going to be premiered in Los Angeles by ICM Partners. Filmed mainly in New York, this fictional story is inspired by real events but takes a light hearted approach in order to start a discussion on the serious implications.
While the movie’s trailer is out, Monica’s performance is appreciated and gained a lot of praises already.
