Well, ever since director Karan Johar announced that Salman Khan will be starring in Shuddhi, fans have been eagerly awaiting more news on that. At a recent event, the director was asked about two of his important projects, ‘Shuddhi‘ and Ram Lakhan remake.

When asked about it, Karan said, “The two movies are both awaited by us also. ‘Shuddhi’ should definitely go on-floors very soon. The pre-production on that film is a tumultuous task because it is a very widespread film with a large scale and so it takes time. And Karan Malhotra, the director of the film is releasing ‘Brothers’ in August, so he will start ‘Shuddhi’ right after that.”

Talking about Ram Lakhan,Karan added, ““Ram Lakhan should start early 2016. Rohit Shetty is all set. As soon as he finishes ‘Dilwale’, we will in next two months announce the cast of the film. And just to say it on record, ‘Ram Lakhan’ hasn’t been cast because every morning I open a newspaper or a website, there is some new cast suggested to me. Eventually it might happen that I will play Ram and Rohit will be playing Lakhan because that’s the way it is going. Every day there is some new information about it making the rounds. So till we go on record, let me make it clear that the film hasn’t been cast.”

Well, we can’t wait to find out who will be cast in Ram Lakhan soon!
