Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom recently released its trailer. The film which deals with global terrorism and especially the aftermath of Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11 is based on the novel Mumbai Avengers. JuD chief and Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed has now filed a plea in a court in Lahore, seeking ban on the film’s release in Pakistan.

His petition states that the Kabir Khan film consists of “venom against Pakistan and Jamaat-ud-Dawa”.Lahore High Court’s Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan has fixed 10 August as the date for hearing the petition.

In the past, films such as Akshay Kumar’s Baby, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod too have been banned in Pakistan.
