Kareena Kapoor may have been going through a slump in her career, but the actress is definitely trying hard to revive it. After missing out on films like Queen and Ram Leela, the actress will be seen in a blink and miss role in Gabbar. According to sources, the actress will play lead star Akshay Kumar’s dead wife in the film.
We also hear that her character will be somewhat similar to what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had in Shah Rukh Khan’s Mohabbatein. Even though Aish did not have a sizeable role in the YRF venture, she was seen in the flashback scenes.
Previously Akki and Kareena were seen together as husband-wife in Aitraaz too! Although Kareena’s character will be dead, she will be seen in the scenes where Akshay’s character reminisces his old days.
Though these reports are not yet confirmed by the makers, we still wonder why Bebo took up this role, where the character has quite a little scope to grab much attention! She, definitely was offered many other projects which had better potential to hold up her career. In fact, more than her role in Gabbar, Kareena has been in the news for the special song that she will be doing in the film.
