After a lot of speculation over Karan Johar’s upcoming project Shuddhi, rumors were put to rest when the makers confirmed that it is none other than Salman Khan who will be playing the male lead. Shuddhi will be directed by Karan Malhotra and has been one of the most-anticipated films thanks to its casting coup.
Buzz is that the makers are in talks for the female lead of the film and we hear it is Salman’s Kick co-star, Jacqueline Fernandez who has been approached for the role. The duo showcased their sizzling chemistry in Kick and may do it all over again for Shuddhi.
Post Kick, Jacqueline has landed up with quite a lot of plum projects such as Roy and currently has her plate full with Brothers and Dishoom. It seems the actress is yet to allot her dates for this film. An official announcement from the makers is still awaited, confirming the female lead for the film.
