The Rio banners are looking all bright and actors Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan are busy creating hype for their upcoming film Rio 2. The actors have dubbed for the Hindi version of the popular animation film. But ask Imran Khan about his Hollywood aspirations and the actor surprises with a forthright answer. “I have no interest in working in Hollywood films. Playing hero’s roommate or computer repair guy is not my aim. Good roles are not written for Indians in Hollywood.”

Indian actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor have worked in international projects like The Great Gatsby and Mission Impossible 4, but Imran isn’t even remotely keen on acquiring for himself a measly part in a meaty Hollywood film. Imran continued, “Every actor makes choices that are correct for them. But the kind of roles offered to Indians aren’t exactly interesting. Without disrespecting anyone, I think such film only have a glorified special appearance for Indian actors. I am very content with working in India.”

Imran is currently ecstatic about his Rio experience. He and Sonakshi dubbed for Blue and Jewel respectively in the film’s Hindi version which is slated to release on 11th April.
