Hrithik Roshan is all set to star in another period drama with director Ashutosh Gowarikar. After the duo stunned the audiences with the brilliant ‘Jodhaa Akbar‘, this time the story is set in the ancient civilization of Mohenjo-Daro. We hear, the movie will be produced by UTV banner along with Ashutosh Gowariker Productions Pvt. Ltd.
The film will be a love story featuring fictional characters set in the back drop of the ancient civilization of ‘Mohenjo-Daro‘. Newbie Pooja Hegde has been roped in as the female lead for this film.
Now that the film will be produced by UTV (which is now Disney India), it will also enjoy international attention. After a rigorous research of three years, director Ashutosh Gowarikar has finalized on the plot of the film. The music will once again be in the hands of music maestro A R Rahman, who has previously worked with Gowarikar on the likes of Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar and Swades.
