Has Varun Dhawan Bagged Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ Sequel?

Akshay Kumar’s recent release Baby fetched a lot of positive responses. The film directed by Neeraj Pandey was lauded for its content and the makers are so happy with responses that a sequel to it is in the pipeline. Buzz is that the makers want to rope in actor Varun Dhawan in the sequel. The second installment is expected to hit the theaters in January 2017.

Since Varun is yet to give a nod for this project, there has been no official announcement on it as of now. Director Neeraj Pandey still has to wrap up his next which is a biopic on the Indian Cricket Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni starring Sushant Singh Rajput. In the meanwhile, Varun is also busy with projects such as Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2 and also the yet untitled film with Rohit Shetty.

We hear, Akshay has conformed to be a part of the sequel. Well, if Vaarun too comes on board for this action sequel, the film will certainly be a career defining project for him.
