While the media was going gaga over Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Kapoor coming together for a remake of the 1958 classic ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi‘, a source close to SRK has rubbished all the rumours.
According to a popular daily, Shah Rukh was roped in by Rohit Shetty to play the eldest brother in the story and would reprise the role of Ashok Kumar from the original. Also it was stated that Arjun Kapoor would play the role of Kishore Kumar.
The source has denied him being part of any such project. Unfortunately, the news that has been buzzing around is false and considering that SRK currently has his plate full with Fan, Raees and also Rohit Shetty’s next untitled in pipeline, there is no way that the actor would have signed this film.
