The two much awaited films ‘Dilwale‘ and ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ are clashing on 18th December this year. Both the films are trying their level best to mark their presence felt and create enough buzz to impress the cine goers.
The industry experts have estimated that the marketing promotional campaign for both the films will cost more than 50 crores. ‘Dilwale’s costing is around 30-40 crores while Bajirao Mastani will spend around 20 crores for their marketing promotional campaign.
The promotional strategies of both the films are quite different. There is huge pressure on ‘Dilwale’ as the celebrated couple of SRK-Kajol are coming together after 5 years along with Rohit Shetty. The film should at least collect 250 crores to become box office success.
‘Bajirao Mastani’ seems to be taking things differently. The film is mainly riding on the reputation for filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s chemistry. Bajirao Mastani promotions started off low and have now picked up pace.
While the screen count and footfalls will be a crucial element for both films, it will be interesting to see eventually who comes out as the winner.
