After clarifying that Prachi Desai will be reprising her role in Rock On 2, the new addition to the cast has also been confirmed. Since speculations were rife that it was a choice between Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor, it has now been confirmed that Shraddha Kapoor will be a lead character in the second installment of Rock On.
Confirming the news, Shraddha says, “I am extremely excited to be a part of Rock On 2. I am a big fan of the first part and and love the character I am playing in the sequel. It is a role that involves singing and live performances and that very few roles give you a chance to do.”
While Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli all will be continuing with their roles, Shraddha’s character will be interesting as she will change a lot of things as she enters the band. Considering that the actress is also a fabulous singer, it is a plus point for the makers as she will croon along with Farhan who also made his singing debut with rock on.
The actress is currently busy shooting ABCD 2 with Varun Dhawan and its seems after showcasing her dance talents in this one, she will completely rock us with Rock On 2!
