Anurag Kashyap’s magnanimous venture Bombay Velvet is wrapped up finally. Based on Gyan Prakash’s book Bombay Fables, the film is Kashyap’s first attempt at making a larger than life film. Known to be a bigger fan of grey, realistic vein of films, Bombay Velvet is anticipated for being his first tryst with something unlike him.
The film that is set in the 60s has recreated a retro ambiance for itself. The makers have left no stone unturned to ensure no detail of the film is leaked out. Recently reports of bouncers manhandling a photographer on the film’s sets too made headlines on tabloids.
Despite much care being taken on this department, a picture of Ranbir Kapoor from the sets of the film has leaked.
Ranbir who is playing the role of a street fighter named Johny Balraj was seen in a waistcoat teamed with loose baggy pants which are pleated upfront.
The look of the actor definitely looks interesting and has a certain degree of the film’s neo noir effect in it.
Starring Ranbir alongside Anushka Sharma, the film also stars Raveena Tandon and Kay Kay Menon.
