Confirming the news to a leading newspaper, Director of the film Anees Bazmi said, “The Censor Board has only asked for verbal cuts — words like saala have been asked to be deleted, which we’ve happily done. However, for some other cuts, we’re trying to explain the reason why those words are there. Every member of the board knows my films don’t have any double meanings or vulgar dialogues. So many cuts seem a little extreme.”

Welcome Back‘, which is all set to hit the screens this Friday, stars John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Shruti Hassan, Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Shiney Ahuja & Ankita Shrivastava.
