Coming from the makers of Special 26, the expectations from the Akshay Kumar starrer Baby trailer were set really high. It is really important for a trailer to set a tone within its first ten seconds and well, that exact build up is a winner when it comes to the Baby trailer. Taking off with a long shot in the picturesque location of Dubai’s mosque is enough to tell you that a gripping tale is about to unfold.
Akshay Kumar, who will be seen essaying the role of Captain Ajay Singh, has us hooked onto him right from his first glimpse. Playing the Counter Intelligence Unit Officer, Akki is loaded with a super team of Rana Daggubati, Anupam Kher and Tapsee Pannu all of whom pack a punch in the trailer but the real show stealer here is the antagonist, Pakistani actor Rashid Naz. His entrée dialogue is enough to show us his audacious nature and you now the game has just begun.
Shot across Delhi, Dubai and Istanbul, this espionage drama has a pacey and gripping trailer. With interesting punchlines such as Kay Kay Menon saying “Kasab Ko Toh AC Room Mila Tha, Usse Toh Hum Zyada Hi Kiye Hai” are certainly a treat. After a long time, comes a film that gives you an action drama with patriotic undertones to it.
This seems to be a new-age Roja but this time the terrorists are being chased and hunted down by a well-equipped, smart team. Akshay comes out like Indian Leonardo Dicaprio running around in the deserts of Dubai and reminds us of Body Of Lies. Although the most impressive part about the trailer is hands down the quote, “History is made by those who give a damn”.
Neeraj Pandey once again proves his mettle at bringing a gripping tale on celluloid and this trailer certainly leaves us wanting for more.
