Be it 3 Idiots or Dhoom 3 or even Aamir Khan’s last Christmas release PK, the Christmas releases have made wonders at the Box Office. And this time around too, Aamir has booked 2016’s Christmas week for his next film.
Disney and Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which is reportedly based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat and his daughters namely – Geeta, Babita and Sangita, will release in the Christmas week of 2016. i.e. 23rd December.
Aamir has put on weight for the character and is busy learning how to wrestle and how to speak Haryanvi, for his role. Khan has beefed up and now weighs 90 kilos in order to look like a wrestler. At the recent event, Aamir said, “This preparation will continue for some months. Then we will start shooting for the film.”
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal will be going on floors in the next few months.
