Filmmaker Subhash Kapoor, who last directed the successful film Jolly LLB, is now all set to make a sequel to the film with the same cast Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in lead.

A source close to the development revealed, “Subhash was very keen on making sequel to Jolly LLB post the success of first installment but, he wanted to give some space between both the films and thus he started making his next film Guddu Rangeela.”

Guddu Rangeela is almost on the verge of completion and simultaneously he has also finished the script of Jolly LLB sequel. So, he will start shooting for the film in the early 2015 with the same star cast that includes Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani,” the source added.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB’ which was released in 2013 featured Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, Saurabh Shukla among others. The small budget film did well at the box office and not just recovered its money but also garnered profit.

The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi, while Saurabh Shukla also won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.

The National award winning Bollywood film ‘Jolly LLB’ a courtroom comedy drama film was written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film revolves around the early life of Lawyer Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly.
