Anushka Sharma, who made her production debut with NH10, is in a happy space now as the film has recovered its making cost of Rs 13 Cr by making the collections of 15.40 Cr till Monday, with an excellent word of mouth.

When asked Anushka if she had expected these numbers coming in or more, she said, “Honestly I expected nothing, I am always been like that. You should just do your work and you should just kind of make a good film and then numbers will follow. It’s not something that you can pre-decide or think too much about it. So we didn’t expect anything, we didn’t put any kind of mark for us.”

With the success of her debut venture in production, when asked what will be the strategy of her production house Clean Slate Films, she said, “We will try different genres and make good films. Pick up different, unique stories. Work with people like Navdeep and Sudeep that we are working on couple of scripts with them already. It is something that should be different like NH10. Clean Slate is open to new talent, work with people who are uniquely talented. We will work on scripts everything starts from scripts and ends on scripts.”

Further talking about getting stars for the films under her production house she says, “We will approach actors, not stars. If the actor is a star that’s a different thing. Our scripts are going to be a star for us. Today even younger lot of actors also look for roles. I don’t necessarily need to act in every film that our company produces.”
