The shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gabbar has kickstarted yesterday. Film’s lead star, Akshay Kumar, provided a blow-by-blow account of the first day’s shoot on the social networking blog.
Khiladi Kumar was filled with ecstasy on the first day of filming, as he wrote, ‘Starting the New Year, with a New Movie, a New Look & by God’s Grace lots of Luck!! 1st shot for Gabbar… Wish me luck!’
Akki was seen sporting a beard; and the rugged look is definitely suiting the actor! He was even more excited when his 1st co-star and actress Karisma Kapoor visited the sets!
Akshay wrote on the blog, “What a beautiful #BlastFromMyPast! My 1st Heroine came to wish me luck for my new film! #KarismaKapoor u still Rock;)”
Gabbar will be directed by Krish, and stars actor Sonu Sood, Nikitin Dheer of Chennai Express fame and Prakash Raj. The movie will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who will be working with Akki for the 2nd time after Rowdy Rathore!
Gabbar is tentatively scheduled to release in Christmas 2014!
