News had been doing the rounds almost for the longest time now that after a successful streak with Salman Wanted Khan and Rowdy Rathore – Akshay Kumar, South Indian actor-turned-director Prabhu Deva whose last film was Tips’ Ramaiya Vastavaiya, is gearing up for his next! His next, with Ajay Devgn!
And if reports are to be believed, Ajay Devgn has taken his Prabhu Deva connect to the next level, by gladly allowing him to use his initials as the main title of the film. Another hardcore action comedy, one straight out of Prabhu Deva’s kitty, the film has been named Action Jackson. Action Jackson, in short AJ is what close friends and relatives call Ajay with.
And would you believe, Ajay’s BBM status too refers to him being AJ and his sister-in-law, the high-on-oomph-and-attitude Tanisha too calls her jijaji by the same name. Putting his initials to good use this time, Ajay hopefully is all set to leap back to the Singham and the Son of Sardar days where his films worked magical wonders, unlike a dud like Himmatwaala or the slowly stead Satyagraha!
Although Prabhu chose the title without much of a thinking, but now that AJ aka Ajay, as in our new Action Jackson is all set o scorch screens, we are expecting the actor to put firecrackers back on screen. And with a maverick director like Prabhu by his side, Ajay should have it easy this time round.
