The AIB Knockout – The Roast Of Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh video, which went viral since being posted Jan 28, was pulled out Tuesday night from Youtube. AIB’s official Twitter handle tweeted yesterday: Have taken down AIB Knockout for now. We will speak soon.
Organised by the famous All India Bakchod (AIB), the Roast poked fun at the roastees namely Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor and was hosted by director/producer Karan Johar.
Citing complaints on the below-the-belt content of the programme, Education and Culture Minister Vinod Tawade ordered a probe Monday evening. He said in a press statement that the Culture Department officials will examine the videos’ content and if found vulgar, action would be initiated. Not just this, but the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Tuesday demanded an apology from all the persons involved in the AIB Roast, and said that it would not allow Johar, Arjun and Ranveer’s movies to be screened if they do not apologize.
Here’s what some celebrities had to say after the video was pulled down:
Not your cup of tea…don’t drink it!!!
