In his next film Dangal, Aamir Khan will be seen playing a father to four daughters. After having auditioned more than 21,000 girls till now, the casting team has got two girls, Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, on board to essay the role of Aamir’s daughters.
Fatima is a Mumbai based girl, has acted in a few films and a TV serial and dabbled in photography. Sanya, born and brought up in Delhi, is a trained ballet dancer.
While the film will focus on the two girls who at the age of 22 and 20 made history, a search is still on for actors who will play their younger ones. It is a tough role for which the girls are required to be slightly athletic and will have to undergo strenuous training.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari , Dangal is slated for a 2016 release.
