While facing all the vandalism and protest over its subject of ‘Indian God and Godsman’ PK got to its credits a humongous, record breaking Box-Office success. Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra were present at the DVD launch event yesterday at a multiplex and looked all excited and happy.
“This is the first time that I have had deleted scenes in a DVD, all my earlier films DVD never had deleted scenes,” Said Rajkumar Hirani.
Speaking on the occasion Aamir said, “It is really memorable for all of us. Those who want to have PK in their collections can now have it. There are behind the scenes; which have those things and discussions we do and whatever we experience, you will get to see all that.”
Well, this was the first time that the producer of the film, Vidhu Vinod Chopra spoke to media ever since the movie was made. Expressing his happiness Mr. Chopra said, “It makes me feel very nice that we are actually pushing our limits with every film we did, we are trying to break new grounds. But, PK particularly as Aamir says, this DVD is very precious to us because, we spent almost 5 years making this film and almost six to eight months in the editing room, perfecting every scene. People who know cinema, this DVD will be very helpful.”
