Job Description
- Track stories from the entertainment field and connect with stars to get direct quotes from them.
- Coordinate with production houses/PR agencies for interviews with celebs.
- Get interviews/bytes from celebrities on demand.
- Share snippets/thoughts quickly with the team, for breaking stories.
- Be well versed with social media and trends, and be able to engage celebs with direct social media posts for us.
- Be on toes for anything and everything that happens in the entertainment industry.
- Be well versed with fitness/lifestyle & locations which are popular with celebs in Mumbai, to be able to cover stories around them.
- Proficient in English and Hindi.
- Able to collaborate and work with Video Editors on the video ideas and output
Who you could be?
- An entertainment journalist with a popular brand in Mumbai, with over 3 years of experience.
- A go-getter, who is able to create and maintain direct relationships with Celebrities or PR agencies to get maximum interactions/Interviews
- Someone who loves being in front of the camera and does not shy away from working on unique ideas, apart from general interviews.
- Someone who can come up with new ideas, to create our own trends for others to follow.
- A pleasant personality who can manage interviews single-handedly
