Salman Khan Is The Rajnikant Of Bollywood
Trade analyst Komal Nahta on the box-office opening and prospects of Salman Khan’s Bodyguard:
The first day collections of Bodyguard surpassed everyone’s expectations by making almost Rs. 21 crore at the box-office on its first day. The film also managed to break the record of Salman’s Dabangg in Dubai by opening with 11 lakh dirhams. In the UK, the film made £2.6 lakh in its first two days making it the highest single weekday collection. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Salman Khan is the Rajnikant of Bollywood.
