Rakeysh Mehra’s Film On Milkha Singh

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, maker of films such as Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6, has announced a biopic on ‘The Flying Sikh’, athlete Milkha Singh, titled Bhag Milkha Bhag. Milkha lost his parents in the partition. Thereafter he fought against all odds and went on to become one of India’s greatest athletes ever. Prasoon Joshi will be writing the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film, which will go on floors sometime next year. Who will play Milkha Singh is yet undecided.
