Sunny Leone, the adult star, who shot to fame in India post her stint on the reality show Big Boss is all set to star in Devang Dholakia’s next action film, reportedly titled as ‘Tina and Lolo‘.

Sunny, coming from the beat of work that she is, is a natural choice for sexy and sensuous roles. Dholakia intends to present to us an entirely unique form and avatar of Sunny Leone.

Devang Dholakia, the film’s director who earlier tried to make his mark with “3 Nights 4 Days”, told IANS, “Sunny really liked the script, and once she is done with her prior commitments, she will be on board. It’s an action film and the rest of the star cast shall be decided soon. It’s a complete rustic action film. It will be in-your-face. It will not be ‘Charlie’s Angels’ kind of an action. We will start rolling from May 2013 and Sunny will have to do some training before starting the film.”

Apparently Sunny was thrilled about the script and agreed to work on it instantly. Dholakia assures that the film will be dark and twisty yet enticing and abundant is excellent action moves.

‘Tina and Lolo’ and is a tale of companionship and love. The film will be produced under Balaji Motion Pictures and further details about the film have been carefully kept in wraps.

Leone’s first Bollywood break came with Jism 2 produced by Mahesh Bhatt. Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt were both very impressed with Sunny’s charm and confidence which made her a strong contender for the film. KoiMoi wishes Sunny Leone our best wishes for this venture.

“Just got a call from Abhay Shastry, Bandra Police Station, confirming they have arrested man who made abusive/threatening calls to me on Jan 9,” Pooja tweeted Saturday morning.

“Police confirms that man who abused/threatened me is all of 25 years old and works for Vodafone. Can’t wait to look into his eyes and say hello,” she further posted.

Pooja had filed an official complaint Wednesday at the Bandra police station here against the caller, who was calling her incessantly in the wee hours, and threatened her.

Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has been receiving obscene and threatening calls from an unidentified guy. She has filed an official complaint on Wednesday at the Bandra police station here against the caller.

“Have been getting threatening/obscene calls from +918308984111. The male voice, obviously inebriated, abused me and threatened to come over,” Pooja shared on Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday.

She called the police immediately, but only in vain.

“I called 100 to complain. A rude female voice on the other end asked me to go to the nearest police station as she could not do anything. When I explained that it is close to 1 a.m. and I could not possibly be expected to go to the police station alone, she got extremely brusque,” wrote a Pooja.

The calls from +918308984111 continued in the meantime.

Pooja’s father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, shared that he too had “received a call from the same number at 12.35 a.m. (Jan 9)”.

“It’s organised terror,” he added.

Actor-director Pooja Bhatt is all set to give a new twist to item songs in her next Cabaret, which she plans to shoot in 3D.

“There is so much ‘hoo haa’ about item songs, so it would be fun to redo the item numbers… I also feel that the genre of item number has been over used and abused. I want to show the heartland of India’s cabaret like it’s never been seen. I really want to do a spin on that,” she told IANS.

“I might shoot Cabaret in 3D. ‘Cabaret’ is a musical where there is a cabaret dancer and a man (Randeep Hooda) who comes from the crime world… These two worlds collide and that’s the kind of the act that we have planned,” she added.

Cabaret, according to Pooja, will go on the floors next year before Jism 3. “‘Cabaret’ is something that I will start shooting first. I feel there needs to be a gap between Jism 2 and Jism 3 – people need to forget the first part to get into the next one,” she said.

Pooja, who will direct the film, denied any similarity between her film and Chandni Bar saying, “‘Cabaret’ is going to be a visual treat and it’s going to be spectacular. That is something that people now expect from my movie.”

Her father Mahesh Bhatt and writer Shagufta are working on Cabaret and Pooja informed that “Bhatt saheb is my thinking cap. As long as his thinking cap is on, I am going to shamelessly use that. Shagufta will be involved as well because of her background. She has been in Dubai. She has danced in groups and sung. I would like her to be involved in some way or the other, which will give a certain authenticity (to the film)”.

Was the idea behind ‘Jism 2’ to take the franchise further? Or did the story come first and then fitted into the ‘Jism’ template.
‘Jism’ as a film was very different. It had a narrative, which held on its own, and had distinct, interesting and on the edge characters. These qualities acted as its strong feet and carried the film forward. The film was the first to explore ‘noir’ as a genre in Hindi films. It delved into the dark depths of the human heart. ‘Jism’ worked on all levels and I thought that now was the right time to further evolve that genre and space. It was also logical to use ‘Jism’ as a franchise since the film carried the core template. Also in this age when everyone is using the franchise model, the entire package definitely looked promising. What we have done is to add further value and give more depth and vitality to the second in the series.

Meanwhile, talking about the leading lady Sunny, was there also a strong marketing desire to cast her since her inclusion also ensures that there would be a huge curiosity value attached to her?
I remember seeing Sunny in ‘Big Boss’ and was sure that she would be able to add vale to the ‘Jism’ as a brand. Her presence also caught media’s attention and a strong buzz was created. So yes, it was a great marketing move and fortunately things worked out between Pooja and Sunny. Eventually both of them were able to arrive at an agreement. In fact the entire casting has been decided and by Pooja. It is only Randeep’s name that that I suggested and that too since Pooja was not able to find someone to play the role of the assassin. This is where I had to pitch in. However, Arunduoy is her decision and a good one at that. He was a wonderful discovery. I am telling you, he will be a force to reckon with in the coming times.

Meanwhile sex and sensuality finds an unabashed entry into ‘Jism 2’. There indeed must be a logical reason behind that than just titillation coming into play.
See, sexuality in ‘Jism 2’ has the kind of anguish that comes from fierce loneliness; from the inner turbulence that is part of the human soul. All these emotions seek escape through sexual contact in the movie; sex becomes an outlet for these deep emotions. It is not the run of the mill sexuality where the hero and heroine have a one off sex scene on the bed, consummate and that’s the end of the story. No, this is not so trivial and it is actually much more than that; it deals with sexuality at a deeper level.

“Yes, Jism 2 is now arriving a week before Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum. While the former is a sex thriller, the latter is a sex comedy. The Bhatts and Ekta have their ideas clear about giving the audience what they want. Now it’s good to see that a clash has been averted, more so since there is no history of war between Ekta and the Bhatts,” says a source common to both the camps.

Eariler it was rumoured that Ekta’s camp had been irked since Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum was the first to announce its release date and even put out a teaser months back. On the other hand Jism 2 was announced much later and though the film is being pegged largely on Sunny Leone’s name, a head-on clash with the sequel to a successful Kyaa Kool Hain Hum was least expected.

“Generally the Bhatts aren’t the kind to entertain clashes. Especially after their Awarapan went down thanks to its clash with two other notable films. Mukesh Bhatt has stayed away from breaking into anyone’s territory. However he has nothing to do with Jism 2 since it is a Pooja Bhatt film. His name doesn’t feature anywhere in the credits of Jism 2 so he could not be blamed. Anyways, all is well that ends well. It seems like Ekta and Mahesh Bhatt have sorted it all out and now Sunny would be arriving solo while Ritesh and Tusshar will come a week later. The war has been averted,” the source continues.

When contacted, Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures laughs, “Well, it’s not a war, as you call it! That said, we had announced the release date of KSKHH months back!”

Confirming this news on Twitter.com Pooja’s father Mahesh Bhatt wrote, “Sunny Leone is the heroine of Pooja Bhatt’s JISM 2”. Sunny seemed very excited about the film and praised the father- daughter duo in a video posted by Mahesh. “I have signed the contract for Jism 2 and the reason why is it will be my first debut in this country as an actress, I am really very excited, Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt ji are very respected and very well known in this industry. After knowing who he is (Mahesh Bhatt) and who she is (Pooja Bhatt), their history, their company and everything it is an honour actually to be asked by both of them to be in this movie,” Sunny was heard saying.

Pooja Bhatt, on the other hand, was all ready to start the suspense on the casting of the male leads, “While my dream that is #JISM2 comes closer to realization with @sunnyleone my nightmare with regards to casting my two leading men begins! Finding one ‘man’ in this business is tough enough and we need to cast 2 in #JISM2! I suspect strongly that it is masochism that drives me!”

Jokes aside, while Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone made a splash by entering the reality show Bigg Boss 5, the hype is yet to die down. While Sunny has just about started to make herself at home in the show, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is keen on casting her in his upcoming film, Jism 2. In fact, Bhatt is set to enter the sets (house) of Bigg Boss 5 to audition Sunny for Jism 2.

Mahesh had earlier tried to rope in Bipasha Basu and Mallika Sherawat for Jism 2, but things didn’t work out with either of the actresses. Pooja Bhatt, who will be directing the movie, is yet to decide the male lead of the movie, but is reportedly trying to decide between Jism star John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi. Pooja even tweeted, “@MaheshNBhatt feels instinctively that Sunny Leone could be perfect casting for @Jism2 & is going to the BIGG BOSS house to meet with her! Its difficult for people to not like Sunny honestly, despite their biases if any : ) She is sensual, yet warm & vulnerable!”

As if Jism wasn’t hot enough, we’re looking at some real sizzlers on screen for Jism 2!

Pooja had been crying foul over the last few days claiming that the title, ‘Thank You’ belonged to her and not the producers UTV. On their part, UTV had denied any wrongdoing. The actresses’ repeated pleas to the Indian Motion Pictures’ Producers Association (IMPPA) and the Association of Motion Picture and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) had fallen on deaf ears, she claims. The Akshay Kumar starrer Thank You is scheduled to release at this Friday (April 8).

Pooja Bhatt further lashed out against the defense, “The defense established their authority over the title by first demolishing the very existence of all the associations legally. Which means they established that no association has a legal mandate to authorize or deny a title! Now the real battle begins.. If all our associations are mere figureheads they must shut shop as it means there is total anarchy.”

At the end of her long message, Bhatt also issued a warning to the industry: “To all my esteemed colleagues from the film industry who’ve lost the voice they never had-if this could happen to me, it WILL happen to you.”
