With Kahaani and Vicky Donor being the ultimate pioneers that triggered such a movement last year, let’s take a look at the Surprise Hits of the running year (2013)!

The Indianised version of Hollywood’s ‘Step Up’, ABCD: Anybody Can Dance set the balls rolling with some brilliant and exciting edge of the seat dance sequences, dancing its way to glory, as the film, made at a stark budget of 12 crores opened up to a mammoth response, incurring 5.50 crores on the opening day, having a steady 18 crore weekend and ultimately netting in 45.50 crores, snatching away the Super-hit tag!

Not to forget the heavy competition from an otherwise star-struck big budgeted Special 26 could have little effect on ABCD’s fate! And a positive thumbs up from both the critics and the masses set the cash registrars ablaze.

A Valentine affair of sorts, love might have got murdered in a brutal manner but what came as a surprise was the film, despite having lesser known stars scoring big at the box office front. While its only competitor Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story fell totally flat, Murder 3 collected over 20 crores and its satellite rights helped the film take a huge turn towards the ‘Hit’ brigade!

But the movie did relatively well at single screens, earning some rave reviews, courtesy some carefully strategized promotional campaign.

Call it the flavour of the season, bromance got revolutionized with Kai Po che! setting standards for its other contemporaries to match upto, thereby lifting the tag from its precursor Dil Chahta Hai. A story of three friends woven into a magical masterpiece of sorts, Kai Po Che! stood out as a critic’s darling, and people’s love showered upon the team with the producers raking in a steady 50 crore run at the box office. Stealing away the thunder from Zila Ghaziabad that released alongside, Kai Po Che! had a successful run for weeks until a certain Jolly LLB occurred!

The biggest surprise of the year would definitely have been this Arshad Warsi starrer, which in spite of a poor marketing plan earned accolades for its effective treatment to the sensitive issue of justice in India and the corruption involved alongside. Jolly LLB had a dream run for weeks, clubbing in a 19.50 crore opening week, following up with a lifetime of almost 32 crores. The thunderous response was worth it! Made on a stringent budget of a meager 10 crores, Jolly LLB raced past Mere Dad Ki Maruti, which boasted of a powerful Yash Raj Y-films banner!

When comedy king David Dhawan decided to recreate the magic of the 1981 original of the same name, stakes were sky rocketing. But this utterly delicious and lovably loud take on the original charmed the audience, helping the director have his first hit film after ages. With an opening week as big as 30 whooping crores, the film made a smooth 40 crore lifetime, while the producers were left grinning at their profits. No wonder coz this was supposedly made within a moderate 17 crores!

There was the buzz, there was the hysteria regarding this sequel and there were some oh-so-hummable soulful melodious numbers. Voila! What resulted was a super successful stint of a film that neither boasted of some powerful faces nor had an awe struck plot of sorts. But the entire hoolaboo and probably the emotional connect to the content helped the film sail through more than just smoothly collecting in a mammoth 54.50 crores and still continuing its successful run at the box office. Aashiqui 2 made an opening week business of about 38.50 crores and setting in a perfect example for all other small budgeted films.

With mega heavyweights and star studded films failing to deliver, will the films made at stringent budgets be the new Flavour of the Season? Given the current scenario, one would wonder why not? Move over the gibberish item numbers, the illogical stunt sequences and the starry names, lets witness some beautiful films this year, even if they aren’t as hyped and publicized as any other Khan or a Kapoor starrer!

Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, performed extremely poor at the Domestic Box Office as well as in the Overseas market. Rather, the movie saw a disaster collections at the international arena and didn’t even release in U.K. and U.S.A.. Box Office collections of this Vivek Oberoi starrer was just 35 lacs in its 1^st weekend at the Overseas Box Office.

On the other hand, Murder 3 too couldn’t make ‘good’ business at the Overseas Box Office. However, the film managed to make comparatively better business than the former. Murder 3,did not release in Australia and New Zealand and collected average moolah from U.K and U.S.A. It’s Overseas Box Office total stands at 1.87 crores in its 1^st weekend.

Seems tough for both the movies to survive at the Overseas Box Office for more than a week!

Let’s talk about Murder 3 first. One thing was a given that brand Murder would manage to bring some audience on the face value itself. This is exactly what happened as the film managed to score over 13 crore weekend for itself. While this is decent for Randeep as well as Aditi Rao Hydari (who hadn’t enjoyed as much luck with her London Paris New York last year), for Bhatts it has turned out to be a safe outing. Yes, the occupancy was a little lesser than at least 50% that one was expecting but a wide release ensured that collections still looked okay.

There are a few who opine that Emraan Hashmi’s presence would have added to the film’s fortunes. Yes of course it would have but then one has to look at the story and decide whether the film would have required the presence of someone like Emraan who has turned out to be quite a heavy weight today and warrants a much pivotal part in each of his films. Murder 3 was clearly an Aditi Rao Hydari show and hence ‘an expensive’ leading man would have unnecessarily added to the film’s budget, which could now afford to be under control. In fact it is this budget that will save the film since the collections have been just about average.

That won’t really be the case with Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story which has failed at the box office. The film opened to negligible collections and with just around 2-2.5 crores coming over the weekend, the writing is clear on the wall. Considering the fact that the film’s content was at least decent, some form of opening would have at least raised hopes around its eventual run. However with lack of screen space, poor show timings, non-existent opening, average word of mouth and passable reviews, the film is looking at an early exit from theatres.

This Vivek Oberoi starrer could gather only around Rs 50 lacs on its opening day. The movie has met the same fate that came upon Vivek’s last  movie KLPD, that was a box office dud.

Well, let’s see if VO’s upcoming Zila Gaziabad will help him turn his fortune or not. The film, which boasts of a strong cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, might help him to some extent to consolidate his box office position. Moreover, the actor also has the magnum opus Krrish 3 where he will be seen in a negative role. We hope ZG and K3 provide some relief to this star who is not that bad at all.

Coming back to Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, the movie has an uphill task to sustain which is impossible considering the very low start it has received and the fact that Special 26 and ABCD still eating the lion’s share at the box office.

The two releases Feb 8 – Neeraj Pandey’s Special Chabbis (26) and Remo D’Souza’s ABCD – AnyBody Can Dance have both become much stronger box-office bets than anticipated, thereby precipitating an unexpected bottleneck at the turnstiles.

Film exhibitors all over the country, who anticipated a shortfall in the footfalls for both the films this week, have decided to continue with last week’s releases rather than replace them with the new releases Friday.

Arvind Sharma, a prominent distributor-exhibitor from Bihar, said, “It is truly unexpected. We never expected both the films this week to do well. I can’t remember when was the last time this happened. Now that ‘Special 26′ and ‘ABCD’ both are doing well, we can’t pull them out.”

While exhibitors have accommodated Mukesh Bhatt’s son Vishesh’s directorial Murder 3 into the schedules, they are reluctant to make adjustments for Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story.

“The ‘Murder’ franchise has some face value. But Vivek Oberoi’s films have not been doing well. Convincing exhibitors to replace last week’s successful film with a Vivek Oberoi-starrer would be difficult,” said Sharma.

Kumar Taurani of Tips is remarkably forthright on the exhibition crisis faced by his film.

Said Taurani, “Yes, we have a problem in getting shows, but I feel that could be an advantage as Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story is a mid-sized rom-com and whoever is interested, will go for those selected shows. I am hopeful we’ll get housefulls in the shows that we’ve got.”

Murder 3, earned mixed reviews from the critics, on the contrary Jayantabhai was almost thrashed by all. The former’s domestic box office collections in the mass belts are better than that in the major cities and metros. Multiplexes are doing lesser business as compared to the single screens for Murder 3, as per early eatimates.

Coming to Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, this flick is showing no signs to sustain a longer Box Office journey. Rather, both the movies will be needing a huge turn-around to survive at the box office.

In the land of ‘Bhaigiri’ lives a sweet and Adorable Gangster Jayantabhai. One fine day, destiny plots a chanced encounter and he meets the whacky and beautiful enemy Simran (rechristened Bhadotri). Sparks fly between the two in the most uncommon of ways and wham! They are puppy doggishly in love with each other.

Like romantic comedies go, there are hiccups in order to create a pseudo climax. With Real Daddy issues and Gangster Daddy issues, the film creates a series of unnecessary problems. The age old question of Rom Coms is well maintained – So do they finally end up together in the end? Or whether their love falters and succumbs to the pressures of fate?

Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Review: Script Analysis

The same old script is nauseating much! The film lacks luster, grandeur and wit of romantic comedies – enough to be a blemish. While crime romance films are quite interesting if well fabricated, the story itself is flawed in this case. It is like an empty mousse with its richness gone bland. The film does have its share of light hearted humor enwrapped in wit that stenches. Bursting with mediocre entertainment, it tries its best to paint a legible picture. The only energetic bits are when Vivek and Neha are romancing each other. The chemistry is viable but forgettable and is not really endearing. Falling in the same terrain as a series of its predecessors, the movie very desperately tries to claw at the warmth of the Munnabhai series. While Hirani’s stories are essentially magical in its fabric, this movie fails you by being shallow and dampens your spirits.

The film’s story is anything but innovative and what’s worse is that it fails to reproduce any good from the charming formula of Opposites attract. One can hope for the film to do well in single screens, but it is a multiplex disaster for the terrible entertainment it manages to deliver. The film is a pathetic cocktail of needless humor. The romance is cheeky but with the story being so weak, one can only do that little for the film.

To be honest, while watching the film my mind kept going back to the charming and suave lover boy image Vivek donned in Saathiya. His good acting has blurred out in our memories because it was that long ago! This man has lost his edge in trying very hard to fit into the stereotypical moulds of Bollywood tailored roles. He is not even half the actor he was in Saathiya or in Company for that matter. However I admit this judgment of mine is based on a film which is awfully weak. The film does very little to defend any of its actors for that matter. Vivek’s Tapori lingo and safe work tries hard to push the film but the not-so-dignified dim witted screenplay butchers it all.

Neha Sharma is straight out of Barbie Land posing as the Angelina Jolie of tinsel town. She is bimbo-ishly silly and outrageously dumb (Sorry, for being racist) She is annoyingly irritating and sleazy. The only thing that works in her favor is her looks but has clearly done zero effort to enhance anything else at all.

The other characters are simply as misplaced as the film itself. It really shocks me opine that even saas bahu serials have a better level of acting.

It feels terrible to slam someone’s work that is dripping off his sweat and blood. But, this film will make you sweat. It is immensely tiresome to watch something as foolish as Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story. The weak direction rambles on pointlessly only to culminate into a pointless climax. The music does no good to the film overall besides the songs sung by Atif Aslam which is definitely soothing. The mash up songs is strikingly good. The movie’s editing is decent. I guess even they couldn’t figure out means to fix up the damaged plot.

Sachin-Jigar seem to be the flavor of the season with them having belted out hit numbers one after the other in quick succession in films like ABCD – Any Body Can Dance and I Me Aur Main. Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story is the latest to join this list. Directed by first timer Vinnil Markan, who had earlier assisted in Kookie Gulati directed Prince (2010), this film too stars Vivek Oberoi along with Neha Sharma. Produced by Kumar Taurani, this film is purportedly a romantic caper with a twist.

Music plays an important role in creating the initial buzz and curiosity of any film, more so in the case of romantic films. Since this film falls under the romantic genre and also for the fact that its release has been scheduled for Valentine’s weekend, the expectation is that the music will prove to be a strong point. Music composers Sachin-Jigar along with lyricists Priya Panchal and Mayur Puri have managed to live up to the listener’s expectations.

Aa Bhi Ja Mere Mehermaan – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

The album opens with the soulful Aa Bhi Ja Mere Mehermaan. With vocals by Pakistani singer, Atif Aslam, who also happens to make a special appearance in this film, this track is as good as it gets. The music video of this song has already created ripples in the online world and justly so. Aslam’s voice is so captivating & mesmerizing that we can even tend to overlook the fact that most of his hit numbers sound a little bit similar to each other. Priya Panchal’s lyrics about everlasting love & togetherness manage to strike a chord and needless to say, this number will be a guaranteed smash hit.

Thoda Thoda – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

Next in line is the romantic Thoda Thoda sung by Sachin & Shreya Ghoshal. It was a pleasant surprise to hear Shreya sounding so wonderfully different in this number. Her silky smooth voice coupled with the slight hint of sensuousness works wonders and you are completely enamored by the magic of her voice. Her rendition ably complemented by Sachin’s vocals & Priya Panchal’s lyrics and last but not the least, Sachin-Jigar’s unique but captivating composition make this song the next superhit in the making from this album.

Dil Na Jaane Kyun – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

Dil Na Jaane Kyun is the quintessential party song with vocals by Atif Aslam & Anushka Manchanda. This number sees Atif Aslam making a special appearance and it is interesting to see him getting out of his comfort zone and venturing into a territory, which essentially belongs to his co-singer. Anushka Manchanda excels in this track which seems to be totally tailor-made for her as against Aslam who seems to be a little out of sorts but manages to hold fort nevertheless. This rock number is a little bit of a letdown when compared with the first two songs in the album and is just plain average.

Hai Na – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

The penultimate song of this album is the Hard Rock flavored Hai Na which is replete with electric guitar & drum sounds accompanied by thumping beats. It is an unconventional choice of genre for what is essentially a fun number where the lead pair is having a go at each other. Sachin-Jigar’s faith in Atif Aslam’s vocals in this album seems to be slightly unwarranted as Aslam’s voice does not seem to suit this song as well as it suited a number like Aa Bhi Ja, though he has tried his level best to add a rock edge in his rendition. Priya Panchal, who has also doubled up as a lyricist for this film, adds a nice zing to this number with the song itself taking a little while for it to grow on the listener in spite of its foot tapping beats.

Mashup – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

The final track is the Mashup by DJ Kiran Kamath which is basically a remix of all the songs in the album. Personally, I have never really liked the idea of making a khichdi of multiple songs especially so, because I don’t really understand the need for such remixes in the context of a film album. But, this Mashup has been an exception since this was something I really enjoyed for no particular reason whatsoever; maybe because it was so simple & straight forward and at the same time also proved to be foot tapping & catchy.

The Last Word – Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story Music Review

Overall, Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story has quite a few very good songs which will surely turn out to be chartbusters, the most notable ones being Aa Bhi Ja & Thoda Thoda. Sachin-Jigar, with their unorthodox mix of compositions, surely have a winner in their hands and it is really heartwarming to see these relatively new composers growing from strength to strength through the years. Here’s hoping that they continue to keep up their good work in the future too.

The film benefits from the franchise factor and that should help the connect factor with the audience. Murder as a brand has worked in each of the two instalments so far. Though an overall run would be decided by the eventual content (which promises to be good, considering the fact that original Spanish thriller was a decent success and Bhatts have time and again picked on something that is indeed riveting), controlled costs should ensure that this is another plus film for the makers. With an opening of around 40%-50% expected for the film, this should be biggest solo starrer till date for Randeep Hooda.

On the other hand Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story seems like a fun outing but surprisingly its promotion has been low. At its launch as well as the making, it had appeared that the makers would go the whole hog in pitching the film in a major way. However that hasn’t quite happened which means from the opening standpoint, the film would have to really wait and watch for the audience word of mouth to set in. Pairing of Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma is looking good and while one does expect the film to be a fresh outing, it would have to see some real good escalation over the weekend to bring on good numbers.

Moreover with Special Chabbis (26) as well as ABCD – Any Body Can Dance continuing to do well, it won’t be a clean run for either Murder 3 or Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story since audience would be spoilt for choices.

From the gangster in Company to the loverboy gangster in Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, Vivek Oberoi has come a real long way. With a flurry of releases awaiting him this year, we got in touch with Vivek for a short tête-à-tête.

Doing a romantic film after such a long time, you must have become all mushy. How does it feel now?
It’s not at all a conscious decision but yes strangely people keep appreciating me in that bhai space. This is probably the best combination of putting together a gangster from Company with a loverboy kind of a person. So ultimately, what we get from the film is not a loverboy but a loverbhai! The film has a simple lucid storyline and it’s a sweet film revolving around two people, their conversations, their romance and their fights. Its about two unlikely people from two different worlds falling in love and diverging into one single being.

You are all set to have two back to back releases with Zila Ghaziabad also releasing next week. So are you nerve wrecked at the moment?
This is really exciting for me and this week has been a kind of a blessing with the arrival of my prince into the family. So just post that I am having the release of my romantic film Jayantabhai this Friday and then I have this highly dramatic, action packed Zila Ghaziabad. Both are completely from each other in terms of space. I am just trying to be as different as I can be each time people see me on screen. So Zila Ghaziabad is something I am really looking forward to after the appreciation I received for my performance in Shootout At Lokhandwala.

Vivek Oberoi as the gangster has always worked wonders, be it with Shootout at Lokhandwala or with Company. Sow ith both your films on release being on similar lines, what are you expecting out of them?
(Laughs) I am very hopeful about both the films. I have worked really hard for all these films. Be it my failures or my successful films, I have always given more than 100 percent to every film. I have always tried to experiment with my films and be a little different. And yes, both Jayantabhai and Zila Ghaziabad are two extremely different films. In Jayantabhai, I do play a gangster but here the gangster who beats up people, bustles up shops and doesn’t give a rethink to anything coming his way gets completely numb when he meets this girl he loves. He does not know how to speak to her. She is agirl from a polished background, highly educated and well mannered and he is a rasta chhap, tapori complete roadside romeo luchha lafanga kind of a guy. When both of them meet, two totally different worlds collide. So yes along with the gangster thing, there’s obviously this romantic element that comes along with the film.

The chemistry you share with Neha is crackling and there is also a lovemaking scene featuring the two of you. How has equations with Neha been on screen and off screen as well?
I absolutely love Neha Sharma. She is a complete sweetheart. I had such a good time working with her and of course we got along like crazy. I carried on a lot of pranks on her but she is so hardworking, sincere and such a joy to work with. She has surprised a lot of people with the performance in the film. Everyone who has watched her in the film during the screening has said she was so good in the film. It is just a matter of time that she would become a superstar.

So post the two films, what is keeping you on your toes?
Well, there are as many as six more films lined up after Zila Ghaziabad and people should expect nothing short of the best in me. But yes, coming to the projects that are already announced, I jump on to comedy with the mad team of Masti in Inder Kumar’s Grand Masti, which is a sequel to the precursor. There, we have this team of me, Aftab and Ritesh back together, monkeying around and trying to have too much fun out of the marital lines that we are trapped in. Post that, I have the biggest film of the year, Krishh 3 which everyone is so anticipated about. There I play the role of Kaal, the super villain whch is a role of a lifetime. Even Hrithik told me that he would have wanted to play Kaal but I just told him, Bad luck buddy, you have to be Krishh as always! (Laughs) So the best from me is yet to come and I am just trying to give it all out to belt each beautiful project of mine with all passion and love, for the love that you all have showered on me always!

‘Cute-n-sexy’ – This is one tag that has been attached to Neha Sharma ever since she made her Bollywood debut with Crook. With a hit like Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum under her belt that allowed the image to be enhanced further, Neha further showed the glam side of hers. Now that her Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story is up for release and her chemistry with Vivek Oberoi promising to bring on some heart-warming as well as rib tickling moments, Neha is super excited about her first ever quintessential romcom.

‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’ and now ‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story’ – you have yet again fitted perfectly well into the cute-n-sexy mode. Guess that’s the tag which really works for you, right?
(Smiles) Yeah, if audience feel so then why not? I am happy to play along with this tag. It is always good to gain compliments, especially when that image is working with you. Having said that, I don’t want any particular image to be stuck to me.

I am sure any new entrant in Bollywood craves to be seen in a song-n-dance routine with lovey-dovey romantic encounters. It seems to be fulfilled with ‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story’, right?
Really, I had never planned it this way that I have to do a quintessential love story or something. Being new in the industry, all I want to do is something that is important for me as an actor. In case of ‘Jayantabhai…’, there was a lot of potential to try and push my acting skills to another level. See, in a comedy there are so many people so you are in a distributed set up where everything has a little something to do. In ‘Jayantabhai…’ though, it is mainly about two principal characters and hence you have to do a very good job. I have pushed myself out of a comfort zone because as an actor this was very challenging.

Well, one can see that you have picked up the challenge well. After all, you and Vivek seem to be sharing wonderful chemistry with each other in the film.
Honestly, Vivek and I didn’t even know each other at all. We were not even friends or something. Also, chemistry isn’t something that you can put your finger on. I have seen couples dating and not sharing any chemistry at all. Sometimes you see real life couple and there is absolutely zero chemistry. So you can’t really say that how does it all end up happening.

So how did you and Vivek work upon that? I am sure he must have put his front foot forward and taken an initiative to make you feel comfortable, right?
As an actor it was very comfortable to be with him. Vivek was very supportive. He used to sit with me and give me time. He would go out of his way and have a healthy discussion that ‘Neha, you could do this or that’. It is important for actors to communicate.

Though ‘Crook’ was a downer, there was a good lease of life that you got with ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’. Now that ‘Jayantabhai…’ is releasing, how much does the success of a film mean to you?

“(Filmmaker) Kumar Tauraniji called me and said, ‘There is a perfect script for you’. Vinnil Markan narrated the story. What I liked the most in ‘Jayantabhai Ki…’ was that there is a goon similar to ‘Company’ and a loverboy similar to (the one I played in) ‘Saathiya’,” the 36-year-old said here Friday in an interview.

“I found this very exciting that I will get to play both shades and (so) I said yes,” he added.

Vivek also spotted one similarity between his real life and his character Jayantabhai.

“I am a simple boy in real life. But one thing is similar between the character and me -
When (my wife) Priyanka tells me something to do, I can never say no to her. She also knows that I will never say no to her. It is the same is in the film – when Simran asks for something, Jayanta cannot say no,” Vivek said.

“Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story”, releasing Feb 15, features Neha Sharma opposite Vivek.

“Wonderful! I get to work with the legendary actor Dharmji. So I can’t consider myself more lucky. I am working with such awesome actors, all of them, so I can be more blessed,” said Neha.

But before that, Neha will be seen in Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story opposite Vivek Oberoi. The film has been directed by Vinnil Markan and is produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Music Films banner.

“Taurani saab stood by Vivek even after ‘Prince’ entailed losses for him. Till date he feels that Vivek is one actor who is yet to get his due. However he was not in a position to pay him his market price for ‘Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story’. He was quite hesitant to discuss the matter with the actor but was in for a pleasant surprise when Vivek offered to start working on the film without charging anything”, informs our source.

The story goes that Vivek rushed to Taurani’s office and assured him that he would be fine with whatever remuneration that the producer felt was right. He even asked him not to worry about any signing amount and get going with the shoot.

“It was hard to believe what he was saying”, says Taurani, “However I had to get a contract in place and hence I asked Vivek for his price. He told me to just make it for Rs. 11 and get started. Of course that was not possible. This is when Vivek proposed that I make a contract for Rs. 1,11,111 and add a clause in the contract which said that beyond this figure, it was entirely on me to decide what I would pay later.”

Apparently Vivek has also assured Taurani that he would earn at least 100 crores for him in many more projects to follow.

“Well, that was just a nice gesture on his part”, says Taurani, “However guess what, even though the contract is ready, Vivek hasn’t even signed it yet. Of course I will pay him a much bigger amount now. Rs. 1,11,111 was just a goodwill gesture for us to formally get started.”

“This is really an unwelcome situation for Vivek. No actor wants to find himself in such a situation. In the times when actors pine for a solo release, to see his own film as a competition as unprecedented”, says a friend of the actor.

Vivek has all the more reasons to be concerned since at this stage of his career he is looking at a box office success that can propel him back into action. However with competition from himself, one of the two films is bound to be impacted heavily.

“Moreover the issue is far graver than just Vivek v/s Vivek. Even Prakash Jha is bringing his ‘Chakravyuh‘ on the same day. After the failure of ‘Aarakshan‘, he has gone all out to make his Arjun Rampal-Manoj Bajpayee-Abhay Deol really hard hitting. In any case that film will see a massive release. When fitting in one more film would have been a challenge in itself, now we are looking at two of Vivek Oberoi starrers to arrive. That’s impossible”, a trade insider adds.

No wonder, closed door meetings are being held and though producers of both ‘Kismet Love Paisa Dilli‘ and ‘Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story‘ are refusing to budge from their stand, Vivek is finding himself cornered indeed. Though he has begun promotion for both the films since it’s a part of his contract, he is making fervent requests to Amit Chandra as well as Kumar Taurani to talk it amongst themselves and sort it amicably.

Well, let’s hope they do.
