This film was path breaking in terms of reviving the idea of a Hero in Bollywood. A hero was defined as a male character that was almost Demi-God and mostly perfect, free from flaws. Shah Rukh Khan reversed the stereotypical idea of hero, breaking the shackles of normalcy.
