Birthday boy Emraan will spend the day with wife Parveen and son Ayaan.

The actor started out small with the film Footpath in 2003, but got his real break with Murder, where he played the role of a sexy Casanova. This film also earned Emraan the tag of ‘serial kisser’, something that Emraan has since tried to shed by doing a wide variety of roles in his films. Take for example Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, where Emraan played the role of Mumbai’s reigning gangster. Another thing got Emraan’s career working really well – a majority of his films had hit music, irrespective of whether they worked at the box-office or not.

So while Emraan goes on with celebrating this very special birthday of his with his infant son Ayaan, who was born last year… here’s wishing him a very happy birthday!

While Sharman’s birthday plans probably include spending quiet time with his wife and confidante, Prerna, and his kids, the thing that the actor is looking forward to the most is his next film, Ferrari Ki Sawaari. To be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’ is expected to go the floor in March-April 2011 and will showcase Sharman in a new light.

Hailing from a family of theatre actors, Sharman started dabbling in theatre while in college. He made his movie debut with Godmother, where he played the character of Shabana Azmi’s son. His first box-office success was with N. Chandra’s Style in 2001.

While Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, had attended the earlier party, Aamir is clearly in no mood for any more mega-celebrations. Being the perfectionist that he is, Aamir puts in many days of planning and organizing, even if it is just a party that he is throwing. However, this time around, Aamir is just too busy shooting for his forthcoming film, Zakhmi, and planning the release of his next home production, Delhi Belly, on July 1^st,  to spend his valuable time on a party.

But you never know when his friends in the industry might show up at his place or throw him a surprise party. And if that happens, you can be sure that the party will rock till the wee hours of the morning!

To make thing interesting (and when doesn’t Aamir do that!), he is even revisiting his role as a cop in Reema Kagti’s Zakhmi where he gets back with his Khandala girl, Rani Mukerji. If that wasn’t enough, he’s even all set to play the bad guy in Dhoom 3! Then there’s Delhi Belly, starring nephew Imran Khan, which is up for release as well.

We’re hoping that wifey Kiran Rao has something special planned for him. Or maybe buddy Salman Khan has a gift waiting. We’ll just have to wait to find out.

Paris Hilton’s pre-30th birthday celebration had a bittersweet ending – a thief stole her cake. And it wasn’t just any old supermarket gateaux – the sweet treat cost a whopping $3,200 and featured absinthe. The mystery robber made off with the cake after crashing the Los Angeles party – and then boasted about it online. The man, calling himself Paz, posted a note on his Facebook.com page, which read, “I crashed Paris Hilton’s Birthday Party and Accidentally the Whole Cake. I woke up this morning with a birthday cake in my living room. It’s big. It’s red. It says ‘Paris’. And it’s delicious.” He went on to reveal, a pal named Kevin had sneaked him into the party and, after “drinking heavily”, he made off with the cake after Hilton blew out the candles. Paz ends his post by revealing, “I don’t know what I’m going to do with it.” Hilton herself has yet to confirm Paz’s story.

Shahid Kapoor celebrates his 30^th birthday today (February 25^th) and is well into his 20^th film. Son of the veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, Shahid started off as the charming boy-next-door in Ishq Vishk (2003). He continued to play such chocolate boy, romantic roles till Kaminey (2009), where his double role as the shy, stuttering Guddu and the rogue, Charlie, changed the perception of his acting abilities completely.

Shahid has had his share of romantic liaisons as well. At one point, the actor was going steady with Kareena Kapoor. But things didn’t work out and the couple split. There were rumours about his “friendship” with co-star Vidya Balan too, during the filming of Kismat Konnection (2008). While Shahid’s current heartthrob is rumoured to be the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra, both of them refuse to acknowledge it. Shahid even turned up at PC’s house when her house was raided by the Income-Tax department.

For his upcoming film ‘Mausam’, directed by his papa Pankaj Kapur, Shahid flew an F 16 fighter plane in Bangalore, making him the first Bollywood actor to do so. He even had to grow a moustache for his role as a pilot in the film which pairs him opposite Sonam Kapoor.

While Hrithik spent the last year working hard for his films, he ushered in the New Year with his family in Dubai. He even posted a picture with his sons Hrehaan & Hridaan on Twitter.com: “This is how I spent my new year! Taught a few things, learnt many things. The highest pleasure is being in service to children.”

Hrithik has been busy shooting Spain for his next film Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, starring Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Kalki Koechlin. In the new year, the actor will also step into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes for Karan Johar’s remake of Agneepath.

Oh Yeah!’ Bipasha, who started her career as a model, began her acting career with Ajnabee in 2001. But it was only Jism (2003), where she was paired with her boyfriend John Abraham, that Bips affirmed her status as the Bengali bombshell.

2010 may have been rather dull year for her with several box-office duds Pankh, Lamhaa & Aakrosh, but the actor has been in Australia busy shooting for Singularity, her first international project with Josh Harnett and Chris Pine. She also had some interesting stuff in the in the pipeline, including two Bollywood films with Abhishek Bachchan: Players and Dum Maro Dum.

While we’re sure that her boyfriend, John Abraham, has a surprise in store for her, the actress is making sure she gets pampered for her birthday. Bipasha tweeted early, “I celebrate my birthday for a week! Starting now! Thank god for this day (7th Jan) when I was born! I love my life! Thank you all for your sweet wishes!”

Lata Mangeshkar began her career with the song ‘Naachu Yaa Gade’ in the Marathi movie Kiti Hasaal in 1942. The Bharat Ratna winner last lent her voice to a song from the film Jail in 2009. Madhur Bhandarkar, the director of ‘Jail’ wished her on Twitter, “Wishing you Lata Didi many happy returns of the day….May god bless you with good health, love and peace..Love MB”

Lata’s sister, Asha Bhosle regretted not being able to celebrate her sister’s birthday, “My favourite Female Singer & also my Elder Sister Latadidi celebrates her birthday today…Will miss out her birthday celebrations in person as I am in Hong Kong, but my well wishes are always with Latadidi.”

With the birthday wishes pouring in, Lata Mangeshkar couldn’t help but thank everyone for their greetings, “I am deeply touched and overwhelmed with your love and kind wishes on my birthday…it is only because of your constant support and love that I feel the need to keep going on…I thank you all from my heart…The child in me is still very alive…never ever let the child in you die.”

Ranbir began his career in as an assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the 2005 film Black. He then made his acting debut with Bhansali in Saawariya opposite another star child, Sonam Kapoor. Ranbir went on to work in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year and Rajneeti.
