Name : Tigmanshu Dhulia

Born : July 3rd, 1967

Biography – Dhulia was born Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. After he completed his graduaton in 1986 he took a Master’s Degree in Theatre at the National School of Drama in New Delhi, completing the course in 1989.

In 1990 he moved to Mumbai where he worked as casting director on the film Bandit Queen, a biopic of the dreaded dacoit, Phoolan Devi. He was also screen play writer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dil Se. He directed his first film, Haasil (released 2003). The film was critically well-received. His second film Charas: A Joint Operation was a thriller concerning drug cartels. In 2011, Tigmanshu directed two films Shagird and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. The latter was a box-office hit.

Dhulia’s had the Irrfan Khan starrer, Paan Singh Tomar in 2012. He is currently busy with Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2.
