The Dark Knight Rises Opens To Housefull Theaters
Full House openings in many metros came as no shock for The Dark Knight Rises. Other Hindi releases like Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai, Gattu, and Challo Driver found no takers at all. Reason being – Firstly they released on a very small scale with absolutely negligible promotional campaigns; Secondly The Dark Knight Rises.

The Hollywood flick had an average occupancy rate of 75-80% across the country. Some multiplexes even saw a 100% occupancy. Non-urban towns undoubtedly got way lower occupancy in the range of 40-50%. Overall it is a pretty big release for a Hollywood flick in India. The opening is huge and as good as the last super-hit Hollywood flick The Amazing Spider-Man. We won’t be surprised if The Dark Knight Rises touches the box-office collections of The Amazing Spider-Man. The Dark Knight Rises Box-Office Collections might range in the figures of 7-8 Crores on Day 1.
