Among last Friday’s releases, Paan Singh Tomar picked up very well over the weekend. The Irrfan Khan starrer collected Rs. 75 lakh on Friday, Rs. 1.35 crore on Saturday and Rs. 2 crore on Sunday (all figures are all-India net collections).

However, in spite of the pickup in collections, the final tally of Paan Singh Tomar will not be enough to recover the cost of the film (Rs. 8 crore) plus the interest cost incurred due to the 2-3 year delay in the film’s release.

On the other hand, the collections of the Ali Zafar-Aditi Rao Hydari starrer London Paris New York were not very good. The film collected Rs. 1 crore on the opening day; Rs. 1.25 crore on Saturday and Rs. 1.35 – 1.50 crore on Sunday. The final tally of the film will not be good enough to cover its cost (Rs. 14 crore).

The other two Hindi releases, Diary Of A Butterfly and Will You Marry Me? could garner less than Rs. 75 lakh and Rs. 1 crore respectively.

I’ve regularly watch the movie reviews by Komal Nahta in ETC channel but after I read his reviews about Paan Singh Tomar then I believe that he’s the paid reviewer! he’ll give more than 3 star of any Big Budget films because they give him some money but Low Budget films like Paan Singh Tomar doesn’t afford to pay him so he give that kind of movie 1/2 star I am amaze that he give 1 star for this movie , I expect 1/2 star from him! My rating is definitely 4 star for Paan Singh Tomar , my last best biopic film Was The Legend Of Bhagat Singh but Paan Singh Tomar is slightly better than that movie! Khuda aise aadmiko lambi umar de taaki humein iski bakwaas review nirantar padhneko milein! Irrfan Khan I am proud that you are in Bollywood!
