Both Kismet (Kismat) Love Paisa Dilli (KLPD) and English Vinglish opened to really poor box office collections today morning. Sridevi’s English Vinglish was slightly better with an average occupancy rate of 15-20% whereas Kismet (Kismat) Love Paisa Dilli (KLPD) fell flat with just 10%.

As expected English Vinglish was better at the multiplexes than that of KLPD and vice versa for single screen theaters. From the looks of it the opening day collections of both these movies are going to be pretty small unless there is a magical surge in the evening.
The new releases, it seems is facing some stiff competition from the well performing Barfi! and OMG Oh My God! Collections of both the releases, however, are sure to witness a growth during the weekend.

don’t watch this EV crap, it got below average review at TFF by western media, Indian critic are praising due to the money they have been given. TV serials are better, a very cliche and overacted film
Theme of the movie fit to be watched on TV. Who would want to watch an old woman acting cute? The critics praising the movie have all been bought with money. The general public will have to spend their own money. Why would they want to waste it?
English Vinglish is really feel good movie.
MIovie is really great…
English Vinglish is praised by every critic and it seems audience is liking it (going by feedback & IMDB rating,reviews).. It will pick by gradual word of mouth.. It is not the regular mass film with actors like Adil Hussain,and accalimed French actor Mehdi Nebbou one can only expect that the film would be great :)
