Heroine Shows Some Growth at the Saturday Box Office
Heroine made about 7.20 Crores on it’s Day 1 at the box office. Come Day 2 and the movie showed a slight growth making about 8.60 Crores. The movie has also grossed about 2.50 Crores at the overseas box office, where it seems to have not done quite well. The domestic box office collections of Heroine now stands at 15.8 Crores approx. Heroine’s worldwide box office total would be 18.3 Crores.

The movie would have made higher collections but it seems many factors are working against the movie; the first issue being Barfi! Now the Ranbeer Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer is offering some handsome competition to Heroine; the funny part being both the movies are UTV’s ventures. We can’t help but wonder why would they chose such close release dates. Other factors include festivities in few parts of the country and the ICC T20 World Cup.
All said and done Heroine would have definitely made more moolah had things been luckier for it.
