Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 1st Friday Box Office
Gangs of Wasseypur 2 made an approx 3.60 Crores on it’s 1st Friday at the box office. The film seems to be catching up and the weekend is expected to turn things around for the movie. Having made 0.30 Crores via paid previews, 2.80 Crores on Day 1, 2.20 Crores on Day 2, Gangs of Wasseypur 2 now stands at 8.90 Crores.

Though the film is picking up at the box office unfortunately it won’t last there for long. With the release of Ek Tha Tiger next week all movies are expected to be washed off the box office. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 would have definitely earned more had it chosen another release date. The film’s lifetime collections will not be more than 18-19 Crores.

I think in next 4 days Gangs of wasseypur2 would collect 10-11Cr letting total to around 20Cr before Ek tha Tiger release… following which lifetime business would be around 23Cr which makes it a HIT..
(On a different note this film had the potential of making more due to its great content but the release time was bad for the makers)
