Ek Tha Tiger got no scope for a rise even on it’s 5th Wednesday and made a staggering 0.24 Crores. The movie’s total domestic box office collection as of now is 196.24 Crores.
The movie did record business in its 1st extended weekend, however it seems failed to carry forward the same momentum in it’s forthcoming weeks. Had the movie been successful in maintaining it’s momentum Ek Tha Tiger woruld surely have broken a lot more records.
The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer has also done fair business overseas. Ek Tha Tiger‘s overseas box office collections range at a 50 Crore plus figure. The film’s worldwide box office collection is about 245.24 Crores. That’s a pretty impressive figure in itself.
One of the major reasons for Ek Tha Tiger to slow down was the success of Raaz 3. The Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu starrer completely caught Ek Tha Tiger off guard. The release of Barfi! tomorrow might just snatch away the remaining screens that Ek Tha Tiger is still enjoying.
