Ek Tha Tiger made an approx 1.35 Crores on it’s 3rd Friday at the domestic box office. Though Joker did not have quite an effect on Ek Tha Tiger’s box office, the Tiger seems to be dropping steadily now. 3 Friday’s at the box office is after all not a matter to be trifled with. After it’s 17 days run at the domestic box office the movie has managed to amass a huge 184.10 Crores.

Something worth mention here is Ek Tha Tiger lost almost a 1000 screens to Joker and yet is done considerably well for itself. It seems Tiger will amass quite a lot of even in it’s 3rd week.

In India, Ek Tha Tiger has grossed over Rs. 200 crores. In fact, the film did well on the international Box Office too.
The film released on August 15, 2012. It is the story of a RAW spy, played by Salman Khan.

There are reports in the media that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will remake this commercial entertainer in Tamil. Rumors of a remake of the film in Telugu are being suggested as well but no names have been suggested so far for Telugu.
Grapevine has it that Editor Mohan has bought the Tamil remake rights of the film. The film might be directed by Jayam Raja who worked with Vijay in Velayudham.
