Challo Driver and Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai Prove to be Box Office Disasters

Challo Driver and Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai which released this Friday along with The Dark Knight Rises met a pretty bad fate at the Indian Box Office. Though both the movies tried a fair publicity campaign before the release, it seems that wasn’t enough.

Challo Driver and Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai

On one hand Challo Driver proved to a complete washout whereas Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai featuring Suneil Shetty and Udita Goswami did some business but we cannot term it as anything more than negligible.

It seems Sunil Shetty couldn’t make come back with his comeback venture as Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai netted a mere 0.45 Crores at the Indian Box office. Challo Driver met an even poorer fate with a 0.25 Crores Box Office Collections. The reason for Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baaki Hai’s better performance might be attributed to it’s somewhat better performance in single screen theaters.

The Dark Knight Rises indeed sunk the ship of these small releases this week. Let’s hope next week is better with Kya Super Kool Hain Hum.
