Akshay’s OMG with 78 crores captures No.7 spot in Koimoi India Box Office Top 10
Seeing OMG Oh My God! climbing up the box office at a steady pace is indeed commendable. The movie’s box office collections crossed that of Kahaani, Raaz 3 and finally Cocktail, which had India Nett Collection of 76 crores.
This is undoubtedly a huge win for the makers of OMG. Moreover, for Akshay Kumar, who has increased his stakes as the God in the movie. And as of the versatile Paresh Rawal, he has established himself as a box office asset yet again.
Akki is surely making his inroads strong as a Superstar. After playing the role of ‘Lord Krishna’ in OMG, Khiladi Kumar is all set to play a Muslim character in his upcoming film Khiladi 786.
It seems, Khiladi 786 will surely benefit Kumar, all thanks to the good success of OMG Oh My God!.

Totally agree with you sameer. He is the only superstar whose films become blockbuster even without any hype.
Oh My God is a film that comes once in a decade. A rare gem. And all who see the film should be divinely blessed.OMG has just restored the divinity of God and shown us human beings the divinity of religion.
And Akshay Kumar has three big blockbusters in the top ten already. That is a rare acheivement for any hero, anytime…except his father-in-law Rajesh Khanna Akshay has 3-4 movies releasing every year. Even in 2007 he gave 4 back to back hits. Even Rajesh Khanna did not give 4 hits in a year. This is astonishing. Solid star power. With so many releases every year his big ticket movies are a source of employment to many actors, directors, technicians(editors, cinematographers,), film reviewers , dancers, exhibitors, distributors, spot boys, extras,caterers, studios, etc. And that is why at the moment he is known as a parallel industry. I think he is the most important person in the industry and for the industry, at this moment in time His movies entertains millions in India and accross the world. So long live the Superstar Akshay Kumar.
