Will Desi Boyz Revive Akshay Kumar’s Movie Career?
He’s all around you. Appearing on television shows, in college festivals, in malls with his co-star John Abraham and shaking his hips imitating a pole dancer (minus the pole). Akshay Kumar will see his last (and fourth) film of 2011 release this Friday (November 25) and he needs more than a pair of fingers crossed.
2011 hasn’t been the best year for Akshay Kumar so far. Akki began the year on the field with Patiala House opposite Anushka Sharma. While his Punjabi-boy role failed to impress, he soon rolled out the comedy, Thank You. The multi-starrer with Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Irrfan Khan did average business at the box-office. The actor even had a small cameo as Lara Dutta’s husband in Chalo Dilli.

But there’s always a silver lining. Akki’s last comedy with John Abraham in 2005, Garam Masala, was a rib-tickling hit. This time, the King of Comedy’s son, Rohit Dhawan, is the one uniting them on screen in Desi Boyz. With the trailers and songs being liked by the public, the action star may strike gold once again with this comedy.

Desi boyz is a feel good light hearted entertaining movie, which is looks young and fresh audience should go for it and they will recover their vallue of spending ticket money will be fully satisfied by it, if not mistaking this is a sure comeback movie for akki after giving bunch of disappointing movies this is sure a settled movie if akki select good movies and script he can be again in top gamer but at present he is out of game, I really like akki he is a good actor specially in comic and action but i dont understand why he did selected some craps movies
Best comedy movie of the year. AKKI is the real bollywood hero. SRK jaisa floppy nahi jiski action movie aaye wo bhe, all by computer.
DESI BOWZ is a vry good movie. Akshay was superb as ever.It’s better than BODYGUARD & RA.ONE- BAKWAAS movies both of them. You don’t know anything about films, so plz don’t predict them.

i think it will be average type of film. it will not get a huge success but will take good start not earthshattring.
I don’t think so there is much whispering around d audience for desi boyz.Yes,they’ve promoted d film higely but it’s not about promotions now!By luking into d trailers,d muvi is not lukin’ promosing!

as promos and song of each movie which has some big star are always good, whether it was mausam or bodyguard or ra.one but the fate of movie is decide after its release and more over after so many flop no is interested in khiladi kumar movies now. so desi boyz won’t have a big opening and it box office collection wiil totally depend on word of mouth publicity. lets hope d best for khiladi kumar
