The screenplay and cinematography was brilliant, to say the least. The story revolved around Vidya who played a pregnant lady, who was looking for her husband in the city of Kolkata. The plain picturesque beauty of the city was shot and retained well, as well as the culture of Durga Puja and the festivities associated with it.
