The King of Romance, Bollywood’s most loved Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan joins the likes of international stars as he prepares to make his next progressive move. With the world already allured by the magical aura of this super rocking Khan, Shah Rukh seems to have taken his stardom to another level.
The humble television actor who started off collaring the role of an army officer has completed a full circle as he makes an astounding comeback to his favourite genre of romantic cinema with Yash Raj’s upcoming Jab Tak Hai Jaan. While the film has been doing the rounds since times immemorial and has already connected with the audience, Shah Rukh, the brand has risen to the pinnacles of super success today. King Khan has sent an application to the Trade Mark Registry clearly mentioning and calling for a stop on using his initials without permission. Shah Rukh, who is India’s one of the most prized possessions is all set to give his iconic ‘SRK’ initials a landmark status.
Though SRK’s plea has not been approved yet, once that happens, no one would be able to use his trademarked initials without seeking his permission. Earler, Sachin Tendulkar who had done the same was approached by veteran film maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra when he wanted to use his initials ‘SRT’ for his Ferrari ki Sawaari. Touted as ‘a great decision to safeguard his brand’, industry insiders have given thumbs up to SRK’s bravado. Not just individuals, certain companies and industries ranging from the fresh fruits to alcoholic drinks and beverages. Tobacco products, salt, vegetables, mustard and various others are also barred from using his signature to promote their brand in any way.
Along with Sachin Tendulkar, he is another Indian icon to go down the hall of fame alongside Western heavyweights like Jennifer Lopez, Roger Federer, Michale Jordon and others who have trademarked their names in the past.
Such a definitive move form the lovable Romantic hero is hugely appreciated and will definitely provide a boost to the star’s coveted celebrity status, his power-of-a-brand and obviously to his latest flick, Jab Tak Hai Jaan that is all set to make us fall in love yet again this Diwali!

Srk is the most lovable star of the universe.His position and status is only one where nobody can reach or touch in any bollywood stars and even near around of him… He is the real shahenshah only.Nobody can stands in front of him in whole bollywood… So be ready to watch a new history once again in bollywood on coming13th November..
