Akshay Kumar, Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher being the fore running faces of the cine, all are in for a grim-faced harsh reality presented in a lucid and fascinating manner. Kajal Aggarwal plays a very special role being the only female character in the movie.
The movie is weaved around the lines about a real life incident which took place on March 19th of the year 1987, where an unidentified man posed in around as a CBI Officer along with his team and in the broad daylight gave way to a grim dupe in the Opera Branch showroom of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) in Mumbai, looting away ornaments worth lakhs then.
Many are also assuming and conceiving that the role Akshay dons, is the reprisal role of the Indian conman Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava who was alternatively known as Natwarlal. Even years ago this man was the core inspiration of the flick that starred the Shehenshah of the tinsel town, Sr Bachchan, in Mr. Natwarlal (1979).
The role of Akshay in the film is very interesting, as he who plays the role of Natwarlal, who sold Indian Monuments ranging from Rashtrapati Bhawan to Red Fort, fooling and conning people. He was never caught and escaped from everyone’s hands and till the end nobody could even touch or cause harm to even a single strand of his hair.
Now here Akshay reprises the role in the modern sense, where he cons biggies and Industrialists and big-wigs of the nation. He is a master in terms of disguises and has no match in terms of his thinking abilities. He is the ultimate conman who with a special team of 26 people swindles money out of the one with fat wads of money.
The storyline doesn’t fail to catch our attention and with a loaded star cast, Special Chabbis is in turn a special one. All are in ardent wait for the movie to hit the screens early next year.
