Shahid Kapoor Turns 29; Rehearses MJ Tribute For Filmfare
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who is celebrating his 29th birth anniversary on February 25, is gearing up to pay a tribute to the late iconic pop star Michael Jackson at the Filmfare Awards on Saturday night. The actor will feature in an 8-minute live performance where he will dance to four MJ songs.
The actor, who started his film career as background dancer in Subhash Ghai’s Taal in 1999, will spend whole of today rehearsing for the MJ act and will then have a quite dinner with close family and friends. The actor had a surprise birthday bash at a Bombay pub on the eve of his birthday, attended by friends Genelia D’Souza, Amrita Rao, dad Pankaj Kapoor, step-mom Supriya Pathak and his three siblings.
Shahid made his debut as a lead in Ishq Vishk and won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. Recently, Kaminey won him critical acclaim and also a Filmfare Best Actor nomination.
