If you watched the Oscars ceremony this week, you’ll probably have a lot to say about how certain deserving movies and people were left out. What was interesting was how Bollywood reacted to the Oscars:

Interesting to see/read a lot of the media comparing the Oscars to our Indian awards. Most seem to think that we need to improve……raise our standards…. Wait a minute… Aren’t most of OUR awards run and held by media houses! Take the initiative, we shall follow!!

Talking about awards, we’ve seen television channels give away awards for serials aired on their channel. Now if that wasn’t good enough, we had Dharma Productions tweeting awards for Best Jodi, Best Song, Best Character etc on their Twitter account. Oh, the irony.
