Ranbir Kapoor Trusts Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif has a good judgement about the commercial viability of films. She likes to watch films, and if she can’t catch a film in a trial show, she doesn’t mind going to a cinema hall to watch it.
Ranbir Kapoor, her co-star in Raajneeti, also values her judgement after she proved right in their first film together, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. It is common knowledge that besides producer Ramesh Taurani and director Rajkumar Santoshi, it was only Katrina Kaif in the unit who was confident that Ajab Prem… would work at the box-office. Ranbir, for one, was not too confident.
With Katrina having proved right, it isn’t now rare for Ranbir to turn to Miss Kaif to understand how the public would react to a particular film or maybe, even to a song in a film. The Mora piya song from Raajneeti is an instance in point. While Katrina loves it, Ranbir is not too fond of it. But he believes it will work with the audience because his co-star thinks so.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif share screen space again in the June 4 release, Raajneeti.
