Kartik to Revisit his Pyaar Ka Punchnama Monologue in ‘Akaash Vani’?
On its release last year, Pyaar Ka Punchnama was a surprise success of the year. This film about three youngsters had not just managed cult status for itself but also became quite popular on the social networking circuits. Now the same team is back with a film called Akaash Vani.
“Though there were three couples in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, only the central protagonists from the film, played by Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha, are featuring in Akaash Vani,” informs a source, “This would be yet another bitter-sweet take on young relationships.”
Directed by Luv Ranjan, who had made quite a few heads turn earlier with Pyaar Ka Punchnama as well, it is backed by the same producers i.e. father-son ‘jodi’ of Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. As per insiders, shooting of the film is already complete and just like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, there would be an innovative promotional campaign designed for it.
“Everyone was surprised when Pyaar Ka Punchnama promos had hit the screens. What had seemed like a quintessential date movie turned out to be an anti climax of all as the character played by Kartik burst into his now famous monologue. In fact this five minute clip of the film had gone viral and is one of the most watched videos on internet. Though it is very early to say whether Kartik would be getting into a similar monologue all over again, it won’t be surprising if there is a glimpse of that in Akaash Vani as well. After all, it was the most loved part about the film,” the source adds.
Well, one would know better once the Trailer of the film is out.
