Anita Advani Expresses Displeasure at the News of Renaming Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Aashirwaad’!
The style that gave million heart beats a pump up, the talent that gave the other contemporaries of his generation a run for their money and the voice that gave a newer dimension to ‘Pushpaa I hate tears’ and the iconic ‘Babumoshai’ is silenced forever. B-Town was in shatters when they lost their first superstar who succumbed to cancer after a prolonged two year long battle with the deadly disease.

But as we say an actor lives through his films after Death, his legacy follows suit. It has been only about a month that the nation suffered a terrible setback on account of Kaka’s sudden demise that controversies have started popping up again. Be it his marriage with an actress half his age, his affairs with Anju or his plunge into B-grade films, Rajesh Khanna was at the helm of controversies since time immemorial. Even after his death, there has been breaking news that has sent the Media into a tizzy.
Off late, there were rumours of renaming Rajesh Khanna’s ancestral bungalow that has been a landmark at the Bandra bandstand for ages now. This did not go down well with Kaka’s long standing lady love Anita Advani who was reportedly having a live-in relationship with the actor at his bungalow. According to her, changing the name to Vardaan would upset the superstar’s soul. She called this move ‘a weird’ one which ‘doesn’t sound nice’! Moreover she also added that Khanna had expressed his desire of converting the bungalow into a museum after his death. Anita also assured that his wish is being taken care of and the duo had started designing the bungalow’s interiors prior to his battle in order to make Kaka’s dream a reality!
Anita also doled out the brief facts that Rajeshji shared with her about the mansion that is now in itself, a monument of sorts. It was Khanna’s father who had the kept the name after doing a lot of brain work. While fans would write him mails, they would in turn send their blessings (Aashirwaad) to him wishing him a successful career. That was such a wonderful thought, for sure!
Anita who was also in the news recently for claiming her stake in the bungalow was defended by her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar who denied the reports. As of now, this whole news is just a buzz that’s doing the rounds. Let’s just wait till an official announcement is made by Kaka’s family!

I worship you Rajeshji, I miss you. Please come back to the world atleast for few days. You are immortal Rajeshji. Rest in peace Rajeshji.
For sure, if that was his wish, his family has no right to change the name of his Bungalow, especially that his family was never there to be with him in all these lonely years for him, except at the last part when he had been diagnosed with terminal illness. That was more to make sure that property/wealth stays in the family than the true love for him and they all benefitted from this. Daughters and Akshay Kumar got the Crores and Dimple raised her reputation for being a supporting wife. The truth however seems that she tortured him and is partly responsible for his self destruction and early demise. We will always love you Kaka, RIP
