Amitabh Bachchan & Rajnikant Together In Rana?

After 20 years, it looks like superstars Rajnikant and Amitabh Bachchan will finally be seen together on screen in Rajni’s upcoming film, Rana.

Amitabh and Rajnikant have worked together in a number of Hindi films including Andhaa Kanoon, Geraftaar and Hum. The two have been good friends since Rajnikant’s entry in Bollywood and have remained good friends over the years. Rajni even casted Amitabh’s daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in his film Endhiran (Robot), which went on to become a huge hit at the box-office. Amitabh also attended the audio release and premiere of ‘Endhiran’ (‘Robot’).

‘Rana’, which is also rumoured to star Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan and Rekha, is said to have Amitabh’s entry in the second half of the film. The south superstar Rajnikant will be playing a triple role in it. The Tamil action film, by K. S. Ravikumar, will repeat the crew of ‘Robot’ with Ratnavelu as the Director of Photography and A. R. Rahman composing the music. Rajni’s daughter Soundarya will be one of the producers of the film.
